Kick Your Feet Up - An Arm Balancing and Inversion Workshop!
Sundays: 2/23, 3/2, and 3/23 from 2:30pm - 4:00 p.m
Want to take flight in crow and handstand but aren't quite sure of where to begin? Come and learn the foundations and techniques of these playful and empowering postures in this three part workshop geared towards new flyers looking to experience freedom from gravity, as well as seasoned students interested in honing their alignment for optimal stability and safety. Oh yeah, and also, it will be super fun!

3, 2, 1, Lift Off!- The Art of Arm Balances
In this workshop, we'll learn to create a safe and well aligned base to begin to balance on our hands. Crow, side crow, one legged variations and more will be offered, as well as spunky and playful transitions in and out of the poses. Come prepare to work hard and laugh a lot!

Turn Your World Upside Down - A Safe Approach to Headstand and Shoulderstand
In week two, we'll focus on creating the optimal alignment for our hands, shoulders, necks and heads in headstand and shoulderstand - the king and queen of the asanas! We'll work safely with props, the wall, and partners to explore supported headstand, tripod headstand, shoulderstand, and variations, as well as transitions into and out of the poses. Gain the foundations and knowledge you need to incorporate these beneficial postures into your practice safely and confidently!

Gravity Surfing - Fly in Handstand and Forearm Stand
Learn to play and fly like a kid again! Using props, the wall, and partners, we'll learntechniques to kick up (and stay up!) in handstand and forearm stand. These joyful and exhilarating postures may take time to master, but in learning the key alignment principles required as well as techniques to strenthen and open appropriately in each pose, you'll be on the fast track for flight!
$40 per individual workshop or
$100 for registration on all 3 dates
